Redeemer Bible Class - Winter/Spring 2025
Redeemer Bible Class is a weekly one-hour Bible study every Wednesday at 7:30pm from January 22nd thru April 16th. The class includes teaching and discussion providing an in-depth, extended engagement with the Scriptures.
No preparatory reading or work is necessary and no prior attendance is necessary, anyone may join or attend any given week. A remote option is available if you prefer it. If you are interested, please join the Redeemer Bible Class group on the app.
Our current book of study is the New Testament book of Acts, a book rich with opportunity for in-depth study of the Bible. This study will deepen one’s understanding of a range of Scriptural and theological issues including the identity of Jesus, Church, missions, evangelism, the Old Testament Law, conversion, gifts of the Spirit, and much more. A study of this book will be invigorating for those who want to learn as much as possible about the Bible, including and especially what they don’t know already.
This class will challenge you to read and study the Scriptures closely, in conversation with the whole of the Bible, considering literary, historical, and cultural context, and, ultimately, asking what the text says about God and Christ to the Church.
Below are the hopeful outcomes for participants of the class:
To know that deep, exegetical, systematic study of God’s word is possible and enriching.
To have a better, Biblical understanding of a diversity of theological topics.
To have a greater familiarity with and appreciation for the book of Acts.
